05:02 pm okies, when i said driving=eep! i didn't know how bad it would be... Imagine ur first time actually driving.. and imagine it being during a HUGEASS DOWNPOURING THUNDERSTORM! Yes, i did have my first lesson today in that HUGE storm... and let me tell you... IT WAS TERRIFYING. I couldnt see the lines or where i was going... Other than that, i did ok... I mean, I can't left-turn for shit, and i can't back up straight, but i'm good for the first 2 hrs... Yeah.. praying that my next lesson is NOT in the rain .laura. 02:57 pm Drving=EEP! My dad took me driving today... my 1st time behind the wheel (lessons are weds!)... Thank god there was no kids in the Silver Bay parking lot, cuz i woulda run them over! I cant turn! hehe.. I went over on the curb a few too many times, and my dad wanted to kill me... but i 'sorta' got the hang of it! 06:55 pm EEK! CallBacks are tomorrow! thank god im better.. i can SING again! *throws confetti in the air* hehe.. FRIENDS ended last night.. i was crying my eyes out at the end.. so sad! :( Leoffler is stupid..a stupid chorus teacher... One, he made me sing yesterday when i couldnt, and two, even after the whole school wears flipflops now and they basically revoked the rule, he STILL sends people down to the office for wearing them.. ME inclued.. so today, me, and 3 other ppl were sent down.. what do we do? We walk in a circle around the school, not going to the office.. and get back and say they gave us a 'warning' yeah.. right.. lol well nothing much happening... ali's comin home from college on thursday, so that should be fun... 12:06 pm Williamsburg was awesome.. I LOVE busch gardens/kings dominion cuz of the coasters!! It was great, other than a few 'moments' btw friends. The best was the award ceremony... it started DOWNPOURING like 5 min b4 we were gonna start. So you had our band, south's band, and like 3 others all running around the theatre, singing and dancing to the music, getting drenched and having fun in the rain. Then the awards= we won like 9! Guard won ours, band won theirs and best soloist (GO BRADY!), and chorus won theirs and best acompainst (GO KRAJIK!). South beat us in the parade tho.. and they won overall. POOPIES ON THEM. oh well.. i had fun.. But now i'm sick. We barely got any sleep, and i lost my voice, so I have no voice and a really bad sore throat. I stayed home from school yesterday and today i came home during 5th period cuz i couldnt stay in school nemore. And lucky me, for I have Joseph... callbacks this weekend! So long, farwell, to you my friend.. goodbye for now, until we meet again! ..i did NOT jus type the 'out of the box' theme... *shut up i babysit alot* WILLIAMSBURG IS TOMORROW!! WOOT! I can;t wait! The only thing i could do w.o is the bus ride *7 hrs... yipee!* Oh well.. Busch Gardens rocks.. i love apollos' chariot! And King's Dominion sounds really fun (stand up roller coasters? I'M THERE! hehe) And of course, as it IS a band trip, we will be performing... only for the parade our only competition is SOUTH. and they already won (we SUCK at parade... lol) so whatever.. but then RUSH to change for the pep rally and indoor guard performances... that should be fun... lol So i wont be updatin' till Monday.. 02:35 pm TWO DAYS TILL WILLIAMSBURG! woot! I can't wait!! Well, joseph auds went pretty well. Heather (the director) told me at acting last night that my song was really pretty and i did great. Call backs are may7-8, but i have to get a call first, which i prolly will. ahh i hate waiting so long! I FINALLY FINISHED PACKING! luggage for the trip is due today, and i like packed in record time... prolly forgot something, but i can always throw it in my carryon or my mom's (shes the nurse for the trip...). Argh i want a guy so bad... I hate it how i've never had a b/f. I see one of my bestfriends all over her b/f everyday at her locker, and i can't help but think, why can't I have that? 09:58 pm - GRRRRR so today's competition... Last fuckin' place. AGAIN. GOD DAMN THE JUDGES TO HELL. I swear, they have something against toms river. or well, north that is. We do so good, get the crows into it, barely drop it, and they STILL give us last. My parents (as well as vick's, ash's, n meg's) all were there and said (not biased at all) that we shouldnt have gotten last. The guard that won had like 10 drops. its not fair. Its like, as long as you have pretty scenery and money, you win. Well, we have (kinda) the pretty scenery, but no we dont got the money (cuz damn band takes it all) but GRRR..... and thanks amy! hehe... well, now that i got that out... After the comp, me, vick, meg, ash, n tim decided to go to friday's to 'mope' yeah like we did that.. we ended up having such a good time.. 07:19 pm Spring is FINALLY here! It's gorgeous outside! YAY! and just intime for my bday too! :) Well today was ok.. i was outside a lot, working on my captain try out routine (to RENT! hehe) I got most of it done.. Just need to work on the rifle part and the ending flag. Also, we ran errands for my PARTY on friday, to get the cake and the sandwiches, and the chips n stuff. Tis fun... Tomorrow is our last winter guard competiton :( It's at East (THEY SUCK!) lol its our rival school... yeah.. Monday- the funeral.. not really lookin forward to it. I'm not going to school, but still. 04:51 pm yeah, today was pretty bad. I was supposed to be a bad day neway, cuz its the last day of spring break... but now its even worse. My next door neighbor died. His cancer took his life. he had lung cancer that kept spreading even with chemo and radiation. His wife is a basketcase right now, and my mom and other neighbor are in nyc right now at the hosptial he's at. What is really bad is that he has a 7 yr old daughter. They adopted her from china only 3 yrs ago. I was babysitting her and my other neighbors kids for a while, but thank god my other neighbor's mother came cuz i really couldnt handle seeing Caroline *their daughter* all hyper and happy (they havent told her yet...) So sometime this week is the funeral and im not lookin forward to it at all. Esp not right after Easter. On top of all this, I still had homework to do (yes i know im a procrastinator) I got it done, but yeah.. the rest of the bio packet and the oral report.. What a great day... 09:40 pm Bored as hell, no1's on.. yada yada yada... Just got back from singing in Holy Thursday mass.. what fun! not... Last night was AWESOME! I went anna's house and we had a blast! Princess Bride, online w/ TJ n Dave (messin up their chances! lol) , finding out who i like *argh dont even go there*, Scene It, NEWSIES! (gotta love the PTs!).. i'd say it was a successful movie night sleepover!!! I still have a ton of hw to finish.. I basically finished the bio packet but now i have to do the oral report which ain;t gonna be fun at all.. not to mention go to church tomorrow, saturday night, and then grandparents house ALL sunday... oh well, at least i get the house all to myself on monday when my parents are bringin ali back to college! 06:38 pm YAY IT'S SPRING BREAK!!! woot! but DAMN TEACHERS TO HELL! I have SO much homework.. 62 question bio ditto packet and a English oral book report! grr... I did sleep today tho.. But saturday night i didnt.. We got home from the comp at 12:30 (with time change, 1:30) and i got up at 9 to go to church.. but today i slept a full 12 hrs, going to bed at 10 last night and waking up at 10 today.. Oh and the WinterGuard comp on saturday.. it was at Roxbury highschool, a full 2 hrs away.. Bus ride there was fun.. I've never heard '99 bottles of beer' all the way thru until then..hehe.. Then the comp.. we had 1/2 our guard (thanks to the break) so we did pretty bad. Tommy had dropped that amazing rifle toss he does (when he's on his knees, leaning like totally on his back) but he made up for it by catching a quad. I'm so glad i actually caught my tosses! We went up 4 points tho, to a 66.8, but we still got last place (11th out of 11) so yeah.. 03:56 pm Something is wrong with me. There has to be. Lately, I've been waking up every morning with a pounding sinus headache. Then yesterday at squads, I got so tired and my stomach was turning and i felt like i was gonna pass out. I still feel like that now. and i've been sooo tired... ...i think im sleep deprived, cuz i havent been sleeping lately. On weekends when i would normally sleep, I have to get up early on sat for WG comps and sunday for church. and school, well thats jus inhumane how early we have to get up. My mom is worried.. cuz today i jus wouldnt get out of bed... i eventually did, but managed to fall alseep in my first 3 periods.
